Dis-appointment

Ok.. I am rejected by Shell.. Hm.. Probably that's not the path God wants me to set my future. Is alright. I had learn a lot from that interview. Nevertheless, I learnt that to be reach, working 9-5pm everyday can only secured a bowl of rice each meal and some income for the rest of my life. That is something more that we can learn from tertiary education. Not that just a normal student that pass up assignment on time but constantly renew my mindset each time facing different parts of life.

Life can be painted rainbowly. You can make it a heaven on earth or the other way round, with just a twist of mind. Friends, make fully use of your time! Happy New Year. Please dont just make more resolutions but set an appropriate amount. K.I.S.S. God bless.

Shell Internship's Interview

Shell.

I don't have much to say but its reputation tells everything.

This is indeed an oppurtunity for me to make a step toward my goal. If this door is locked, I need a wisdom key to unlock it. Now, I am pretty much ready for the first round interview. Sometimes, I thought it was just coincidence, but now I realise each rejection from a girl ignites my inner fire to equip myself more. This has becomes a habit! Gosh.

Preparation for the interview somehow tell me that I can't just prepare what I need to say in this few days. The news I read, the newspaper I read and most materials are in Mandarin. In order to answer the interviewer, I probably need more confidence and God's grace to express myself. (I am introvert)

Prison, milk, national park?

We will see.

Are You Paying More?

Malaysia petrol price has decreased 10 cents to RM 1.90 on 3rd Dec, yet many consumer products still hanging high, why is it so?
At current price of US$44.13 (11th Dec), let's us see how much extra are the Malaysians paying.
Lets do some simple calculation based on crude oil price US$ 44.13/barrel,

US$1 = RM 3.64
1 barrel of crude oil: US$ 44.13 x 3.64 = RM 160.64
1 barrel = 200 litres
Crude oil per litre = RM 160.64/200 = 0.8032
Processing cost/ litre = RM 0.0954
Profit for refinery companies/ litre = RM 0.05
Commission for petrol station operators/ litre = RM 0.1219
Theoritical retail petrol price/ litre = RM 1.07
RM 1.90 - RM 1.07 = RM 0.83
If government tax is barely RM0.83 out of RM1.90= 44% !
We are paying more more more!!

Kissed Dating Goodbye?

I had an oppurtunity to read a book by Joshua Harris from a friend.

-"I Kissed Dating Goodbye"

It is a book that reordering my romantic life somehow as i was not intended to borrow it at first place. This is the book that based on biblical principles of sincere love, true purity staying in single.

Yet, when we practising all it says, some of us may find it hard in a way that this book's idea served.
First, you are not in Western countries. By all means, there are fewer couples that can willing to go deep into physical relationship.
Who are the author? Take a look at his photo. Right behind the book if I am not mistaken. Well, quite handsome I can said. Probably if you are a lady alone in a corner of bar and this guy approach you and say "Can I buy you a drink?" Truly to say, most people who is judging us by appearance in first sight, may have this thought that pretty girl/handsome guy is the hot bun coming out of oven, selling out in no time. Do you think everyone will stay single until the Right one appear in front your doorstep? That is not what God want. We are the one that choosing our right partner, not God. People like me that is not so handsome is yelling "WHY am I still single??" The point I am giving now is, the author is good-looking (and if you are also) then you should practise what he wrote.
For guy that not so handsome, do not worry. Treat everyone especially your love ones wholeheartly.

It is a good book that seeks God constantly in dating/courtship for most christians.
Yet, it is restrained to certain factors as well. If you are going to read it, have your own stand. A A word from me:
- Don't ask God is this the right one for me everytime you see someone passby.
If you attended Asia Conference recently, applied what that been taught or preached. Leave me a comment if you dont have. I got my sermon note.

"No diamond can compare a true heart,
no evil can ruin an inner beauty.
A true heart seek God for light,
An inner beauty seek God for purity."

Sorry shouldn’t be the hardest word, should it?

"I am sorry" is the most suitable words you can say if mistake is made by you which might not necessarily intended or directly our fault. To me myself, apology is how you repent yourself to God and not sweep the facts under the carpet. I know it happens in all kinds of relationships and circumstances.

Saying 'sorry' in appropriate time and not all the time does not mean you are weak but it shows a very successful leadership style in you that prove yourself can navigate your ship back into the right bearing.

No matter how high you go, 'I am Sorry' is the basic foundation that you ought to practise.

Opening.

This is the story of my life..
